Vehicle.Destination.Imagination combines three-dimensional elements with vibrant colors to celebrate the spirit of the St. Louis region.  Christeson and Magel encourage people to work with their imagination.  They believe that imagination is a place to reside in, where memories and people we now exist and that memory is the heart of perception.  The mural provokes viewers to engage in the tensions of rhythms (flow), building (geometric forms), and emotion (color).

The artists engaged with several community groups to develop the imagery and design for the mural, including residents of the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood, the community collabARTive of Peter and Paul Community Services, and Angela Hunter Knight and the art students from Crossroads College Preparatory School.
