As a member of the design team, artist Phil Robinson worked with fellow artist Con Christeson, as well as architects and engineers on the overall design of the Hampton-Gravois Transit Center.  In addition to his involvement on the design team, Robinson created a cast-iron medallion that references local architectural motifs that are specific to South St. Louis, where the MetroBus Center is located.  The medallion is embedded in the center of the transit center.
