Arts in Transit, Inc., (AIT) works to create a sense of appreciation and connection to art within the communities served by Metro Transit. Both public and private support helps to sustain AIT’s quality of work and regularity of projects.

Major funding for AIT has been provided by the Gateway Foundation, PNC Bank, Regional Arts Commission, Missouri Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Federal Transit Administration, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Metro St. Louis and individuals in the St. Louis region.
